The new faux-twit layout is small potatoes in the history of aggravations on this site, but the fake insta pornbot strip and the lack of URLs on dash, and the plans to neuter the entire fucking point of reblog chains on tumblr? Just, blet, fuck it, this is a waste of precious life. I had to make a blacklist of terfs and nazis ten thousand deep and still be adding shit to it all the time. I'm tired.

its really wild how many movies and tv shows are just like, obscenely skinny. how many casts are representative of the average population, if you sampled a crowd in a normal store or on a train? how many actually “average” bodies do you see on screen? how often are the stomachs shown flat or concave, how often are the thighs all muscle no fat, how often are the jawlines and cheekbones perfect and not covered by even a hint of softness? its bizarre and offputting whenever you start looking at media with that in mind
even with this, the central lady cast is often picked from people that are naturally narrow-boned and starved besides, and the buff boys are narrower than they used to be as well. i thought it was interesting to see in an episode of Arrow where stephen amell had a shirtless fight scene and his belly was a wee bit tummy, vs. the same episode when he was dehydrated out for a scene that was more focused on his appearance. :-P

i ended up googling how many billionaires there are because of this whole fiasco and there are almost three tHOUSAND billionaires. that is what... trillions of dollars being horded. trillions of dollars that could feed people, house people, educate people. trillions of dollars that could be used to make sanctuaries, protect land and animals, make entire swaths of the world just places where the planet can breathe.
two thousand, seven hundred people. that's just... a particularly dense neighborhood. owning enough wealth to save the world and instead spend on killing it and sometimes killing themselves.
that's what people who go "aw, they're still human beings, aren't they?" don't get. to me, this sounds like fucking space invaders who landed on the planet and just stole the entire food supply. that's not a fellow human being, that is a roadblock to fucking survival. that's my enemy and, yes, i cheer when my enemy dies sometimes.

Thanks to the friends who came out to support the four Queer Satanic Heretics still being sued by The Satanic Temple in federal appellate court and now King County Superior Court.
